Welcome to Coworking

Working (alone) together to make space for what we value.

If you’re like me…

There’s lots you want to get done, but it’s often hard to focus and get organized.

There’s an exception, though. Whenever someone is expecting me at a specific time, whether it’s for a music lesson, a career design call, or a workshop, suddenly I’m very focused. I’m able to show up. I’m able to get things done.

Themed coworking calls are my way of creating the same sort of accountability.

Turning mundane but important tasks into a weekly “appointment” on my calendar ensures that I value them like I value my other calls, commitments, and classes.

Coworking Sessions are a way of creating intentional space in your schedule.

Themed Coworking Schedule

🧠 Mind Map Mondays

Monday coworking sessions are a time to wake things up for the week.

This may include:

  • Making a to do list for your week

  • Time blocking (aka putting each task in a spot on your calendar)

  • Planning with coworkers and collaborators

  • Other admin tasks that will have you feeling clear going into the rest of the week'

Anything you need to do to get the million things out of your mind and onto a list so you feel you have a plan for the week.

As always, you may use any coworking sessions for whatever work or other activities serve you the most. The theme of the day is a suggestion to make sure space is being created for each aspect of your creative career.

Social Capital Tuesdays

Tuesday coworking sessions are a time to work on connecting with your audience, building and maintaining your Social and Cultural Capital.

This may include:

  • drafting newsletters

  • batching social media posts

  • writing copy for your website

  • journaling about what’s important to you and the people you’re in conversation with

💻Focused Work Wednesdays

Wednesday coworking sessions are a time to spend time working IN your project or business, actually grind out the work you’re known for.

This is where the Experiential Capital gets built.

This may include:

  • actually creating your art or music

  • writing the next chapter of your book

  • preparing for work with clients

  • outlining a curriculum for your next teaching gig
