SUSTAINABLE CAREER INCUBATOR

March 4 - April 29, 2022 *

Decide what’s next for your career. Get the support you need. Join the 2022 Incubator:

  • Weekly Course Calls: Learn to map your creative career to move towards radical sustainability.

  • Small Group Tracks: Design your career alongside a cohort of others in your discipline.

  • Ongoing Community: Integrate what you’ve learned with 6 months of access to our online community and Resource Library.

* DIY plans offer asynchronous participation, access to past materials, and a community forum to catch up and share thoughts.

You can access the DIY option via a onetime payment subscription. Read more about it here.

I’m thrilled to offer multiple tiers of access so that you feel you can take the course no matter what life throws at you in the coming weeks.

CHOOSE A TRACK TO EXPLORE

Both ‘tracks’ (small group cohorts) will be joining the same weekly group calls and covering the same core curriculum. Each track will have additional discipline-specific calls.

Not sure which track to choose? There’s a lot of intersection between the two tracks and you can always switch later, or participate in both.

For now, click one that looks interesting to find out more:

  • I love my creative project but am feeling drained.

  • I want my creative business to be more sustainable for me.

  • I have multiple creative outlets and I’m trying to create balance between them.

  • I want a systematic approach to analyzing the sustainability of my current business.

  • I know my music is good, but I’m not getting appreciated for it (financially or otherwise).

  • I’m pursuing a career in music but feeling stuck.

  • I want a systematic approach to making decisions about my career.

  • I’m trying to decide whether to even try to make money from my music.

“I’d recommend this work for anyone who is unwilling to compromise the well-being of their soul for their career goals.”

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Why are there two tracks?

Both tracks will be joining the same weekly group calls and covering the same core curriculum.

As a musician myself, I wanted to create a way for musicians to have some additional calls where we'll explore applications specific to our medium and industry.

If you don't feel called to one specific track or another, I recommend signing up for the Creative Career Design Track.

And anyone in the live course who has the time is welcome to come to calls for both tracks!

Also, feel free to email me at chris(at)creativemappingproject.com to ask questions or schedule a brief call to find your best fit!

+ What is the exact schedule?

The 2022 course runs from March 4 to April 29, and of a 90 minute group call each week for the 8 weeks.

Live weekly course calls will be on Fridays 12:30pm-2pm Eastern (9:30-11am Pacific).

Integration calls (weeks 4 and 8) are specific to your chosen track and will be scheduled based on a poll once the cohort is together. We'll take Fri, April 15 off for the holidays.

All calls will be recorded so that if you can't make it to one or more calls, you can catch up on your own time.

After the 8 week course, you'll have 4 months of access to the call recordings and the community app.

+ Is this only for artists or super creative people?

The simple answer is no!

Creative Mapping started as a way to help talented, independent musicians strategize towards more appreciation (financial and otherwise) for their work without constantly feeling burnt out and frustrated.

Non-musician artists started asking me if I could help them too. We tried it out, and they had positive results!

Over the years, these tools have helped bands, artists, and entrepreneurs — but I've also worked with everyone from stay-at-home-parents to teams running non-profit organizations.

The thing everyone has in common is that they are looking for more sustainable systems to help them reach balance as they try to spend their time on this planet in ways that feel more fulfilling and less frustrating.

So nourishing and energizing! Chris’s enthusiasm for whole-human values, growth, and sustainability are very contagious.
